80's 90's Noughties Now

In March 2020 and in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Connect Choir suspended all in person sessions and live performances. With restrictions lifting and in accordance with Scottish Government Guidelines we are currently making plans to return once again to indoor sessions albeit at limited capacity.

With ensembles based in the heart of the West-end of Glasgow, the current Connect Choir has grown to over 120 members. We have a reputation as one of the friendliest contemporary groups to be a part of and boast a mixed group of amateur and professional performers - one voice together, hence our name 'Connect'

Sessions with us are energetic, uplifting, sociable and musically challenging - guaranteed to lift your spirits to the sky!

Connect sing bespoke vocal arrangements of popular hits across many decades, encompassing a mix of vocal styles and genres.  Songs by artists such as Lewis Capaldi, Haim, Charlie Puth, David Bowie, Chaka Khan, ACDC, Prince and many more. We welcome anyone with performing experience although it isn't necessary to take part. With the correct guidance and support, your confidence will grow in time.  Most importantly we welcome those who will contribute to the positive and supportive environment we nurture within our singing community. You do not need to read music to take part but a good ear for harmony is helpful and so too is a willingness to learn, let loose and have fun

Recent Connect performances include the world famous Carnegie Hall, New York under the Musical Direction of award winning composer and arranger Deke Sharon (Pitch Perfect 1&2, Disney, Pitch Battle BBC1)

Connect Choir TV appearances include BBC Alba Documentary 'Scotland in Eurovision Choir 2019'

The Big NHS Singalong, ITV
