What's in store

​​This term, we're recording original songs alongside

known professional and established Scottish songwriters. 

We'll release full details to Connect members.

What you get as a member of Connect Choir Glasgow

Choir membership includes: 

  • Two and a half hours of in person teaching each week

  • Professional instruction led by 3 musical directors

  • Focused sectional rehearsals and ensemble sessions

  • Exclusive access to our online learning support materials, including scores and audio and vocal health guides provided by Edinburgh Voice Care

 

Membership also covers expenses, such as in person tuition time, preparation of musical arrangements, equipment insurance, venue hire for rehearsals and concerts, accompanying musicians, recording projects, general admin, and running costs.

Pricing and payment

Payment should be made by BACs transfer to Connect Contemporary Choir LTD. We'll let you konw how to do this after you join

Pay in full

You can pay for your membership with one payment of £140

Pay in instalments

Spread the cost of you membership by paying 2 instalments of £70

Discounts

You can receive a 10% discount on your term fee if you are: 

  • a student

  • receiving state pension

Meet the team

The MD team are prolific musicians and vocalists within the Scottish and UK music industry.

 

They lead vocal section rehearsals alongside full ensemble practices, giving singers a more focused, supportive and engaged learning experience.​

Musical Director /Founder /Arranger /Piano

Madaleine

Madaleine is an established performer working professionally in the UK. She has performed in Europe, Scandinavia, the USA, Canada, Africa and Russia.  

 

After graduating with a first-class Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Strathclyde, she spent her formative years touring the world with bands such as the BAFTA award winning, OSCAR and GRAMMY nominated soul revivalists ‘The Commitments’.

 

Further appearances and session work have included live performances for The Average White Band, composer Paul Leonard Morgan (Limitless, Wormwood, Dynasty) Tom Jones, Susan Boyle, Mica Paris, Alesha Dixon, Edwin Collins, Wet Wet Wet, Paul Carrack (Mike and The Mechanics), Ricky Ross and Deacon Blue, Ian Anderson MBE (Jethro Tull), Stuart Murdock (Belle and Sebastian) and Hot Dub Time Machine. Other highlights include opening for The Fun Lovin Criminals, Bryan Adams, Al Green, Dr.John, Mayer Hawthorne, and British soul diva Alice Russell.
